Quick Info MCS

MCS provides services for people residing in the St George Area, in particular the Hurstville City Council area and neighbouring suburbs depending on the program. The staff and volunteers are available to assist you with information, referral and other matters relating to community development. The service continues to grow as we adapt to the emerging needs of our community through consultation with our community members.
Mortdale Community Services Inc. is committed to providing high quality, affordable and accessible services to people of all ages in the local community.
  • To be part of the community and known for the services and assistance provided.
  • To consistently service those in the community who are in need.
  • To run the centre efficiently so that the services can be maintained to the community.
MCS is administered by a community-based volunteer Management Board. MCS is an Incorporated Association, with over 70 members, 36 of these being Life Members. Annual membership fees are $10.00 ($5.00 for pensioners and students and $15 for Organisations). Subscriptions fall due each January. All members are welcome to attend the Annual General Meeting held in October.

Testimonials

“A useful and reliable service with friendly, competent staff.”
Kirsty,
“I can not speak highly enough of Occys. They strike the perfect balance of professionalism and friendliness. I have full trust in them and the fact that my children are eager to go to “school” is testament to the level of care and kindness they are shown there.”
Lisa,
“My daughter has been going to Occy’s for a year and a half and I know when she is at Occy’s, she is in a safe and secure environment with carers that have her best interests at heart at all times and that she is completing fun and educational activities that are not replacing my role as a parent, but are enriching her skills and experiences.”
Dom,
